The Ripon Police Department hosts our annual National Night Out event at the Ripon Community Center on the first Tuesday of August. This exciting, family-friendly event is one of the highlights of the summer and brings our community together for an evening filled with fun, food, and connection.
It's a wonderful opportunity for residents of all ages to enjoy a variety of engaging activities, meet their neighbors, and spend time with the dedicated men and women who serve and protect our city.
From interactive games and safety demonstrations to music and giveaways, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Kids especially love the chance to explore police vehicles up close, while parents appreciate the opportunity to ask questions and get to know our local law enforcement in a relaxed, welcoming environment. And of course, free hot dogs are served throughout the evening, courtesy of your Ripon Police Officers who are always happy to grill and mingle with community members.
National Night Out is more than just an event—it's a nationwide initiative that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. In Ripon, it’s a chance to strengthen our sense of community, build trust, and come together to support the shared goal of keeping our neighborhoods safe and vibrant.
We invite all Ripon residents to join us for this memorable evening. Bring your family, bring your friends, and help us celebrate the spirit of unity that makes Ripon such a special place to live.
