Junior Police Academy
Junior Police Academy:
The Ripon Police Department is proud to offer the Basic Junior Police Academy for students between the ages of 10-13 years old (5th-8th grade). The Basic Junior Police Academy is a week long program running from June 10th through June 14th 2024. Students will meet each day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Ripon Police Department. Students will be provided information on a variety of topics. There is a $25 cost associated per student, and the class size is limited to 25 students. An application and liability release form must be completed to attend. These can be obtained at the Ripon Police Department and need to be returned no later than May 31st 2024.
There is also an Advanced Junior Police Academy being offered for students who have completed the Basic Junior Police Academy in a prior year. The Advanced Junior Police Academy will be two weeks long from July 8th thru July 19th 2024. The students will meet Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There is a $45 cost associated per student and the class size is limited to 25 students. An application and liability release form must be completed to attend. These can be obtained at the Ripon Police Department and need to be returned no later than June 28th 2024.
