Summer Camps

The City of Ripon Parks and Recreation Department is excited to offer the following Summer Camps for kids. 

Tennis Camp

The Parks and Recreation Department will be offering 4-day tennis camps for boys and girls ages 5 - 17 this summer. The camps will be held in the mornings in June and July 2024. Our goal is to provide participants with a fun way to learn and enjoy the sport of tennis. 

Mini Grippers: (5-8 years) 9:15 am to 9:45 am
Beginner/Intermediate: (9-12 years) 10:00 am to 11:00 am
Intermediate/Advanced: (12-17 years)  11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Camp Dates:

  • June 9-12, 2025
  • June 23-26, 2025
  • July 7-10, 2025
  • July 14-17, 2025

Location:  Community Center Tennis Courts
Cost: $55.00 (5-8 year olds)
          $75.00 (9-17 year olds)

Art Camp

This beginner course is specially designed for young artists! Using the Elements of Art and a variety of mediums, students will build their art skills and gain confidence with this step-by-step drawing class.  All supplies are included.

Little Kids Art Classes (ages 7-9)  12:30 - 2:00 pm
Kids Art Classes (ages 10-12)  3:00 - 4:30 pm

Camp Dates: 

  • June 9-12, 2025 
  • June 23-26, 2025
  • July 14-17, 2025 
  • July 21-24, 2025

Location:  Stouffer Hall, 1000 Stouffer Street, Ripon, Ca.
Cost: $80.00 for 4-day camp

Volleyball Camp

The Ripon Parks and Recreation Department in co-operation with RAGE VBC encourages all eligible 9 - 14 year old boys and girls to participate in our summer co-ed volleyball camps. 

Any boy or girl is eligible to play if he/she is 9 years old by May 31, 2025 and will not turn 15 years old before that date.  

Camp Dates:

  • June 16-19, 2025 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • July 28-31, 2025

Location: Mistlin Sports Park Volleyball Arena
Cost: $125.00 per player

Basketball Camp

The Ripon Parks and Recreation Department encourages all eligible 7 to 12-year-old boys and girls to participate in our summer basketball camp. Any boy or girl is eligible to play if he/she is 7 years old by May 31, 2025 and will not turn 13 years old before that date.   

Camp Dates:

  • June 23-26, 2025

Location: Ripon High School Gym
Cost: $125.00 per player

Soccer Camp

The Ripon Parks and Recreation Department encourages all eligible 5 to 12-year-old boys and girls to participate in our summer soccer camp. This is a great opportunity to receive training from skilled players and coaches. Any boy or girl is eligible to play if he/she is 5 years old by May 31, 2025, and will not turn 13 years old before that date.   

Camp Dates:

  • June 16 -19, 2025 9:00 - 11:00 am. 

Location: Mistlin Sports Park (soccer fields in the back of the park)
Cost: $125.00 per camper *receive a free soccer ball.
