OPENING ON THE COUNTY COMMISSION ON AGING

The City of Ripon is looking for citizens eighteen years of age or older who live in Ripon and have demonstrated an interest in senior matters, to serve on the San Joaquin County Commission on Aging as Ripon's representative.  The term of membership is three years. The Commission serves as an advisory body on aging issues to the County Board of Supervisors and the County Department of Aging and Community Services.

Regular meetings are held monthly on the first Monday.  Meetings are held at the San Joaquin County Office of Education-Wentworth Education Center: 2707 Transworld Drive in Stockton. They begin at 12:45 p.m. and generally last less than two hours.

 Applications can be picked up at City Hall between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. or downloaded online. Completed applications can be emailed  jkilgore@cityofripon.org, returned in person to City Hall, or mailed to City Hall ATTN: Jane Kilgore 259 N. Wilma Ave. Ripon, CA 95366. The deadline for applying is August 26, 2024.
