Development Fees
The City of Ripon establishes development fees in relation to the impact (expenses) that the development will have on the city as a whole. These fees help pay for increasing school size and related improvements:
- Increasing police, fire, and emergency services
- Increasing demand for water, and for disposal of sewage and garbage
- Expanding the general infrastructure
