The City of Ripon is now partnering with the Greater Valley Conservation Corps to operate the Ripon Recycling Center
California’s Local Conservation Corps (LCC) offers young adults (18-26) paid work, education, and career training focused on recycling and environmental stewardship. Corpsmembers complete a year of service, supported by CalRecycle grants, to increase recycling in their communities. Revenue from the Recycling Center helps sustain LCC programs, which are certified by the California Conservation Corps State Department.
