Volunteers in Police Service
or VIPS as
they are commonly known, are citizens over the age of 18, who donate
their time to assist the Police Department in a variety of areas. These
generous citizens are trained, professional volunteers who enhance the
Department's ability to serve the community and are a vital part of the
Police Department.
