As part of this project, work in general consists of the construction of parks
at the existing Boesch-Kingery and Lan Park locations. Work will include soil
preparation and grading, a new basketball court, installation of park
facilities, landscaping, and irrigation.
Update (04/17/2008):
At the Boesch-Kingery Park site, landscaping continues with more of the
irrigation installation. The basketball courts have been poured, along with the
colored concrete border. All of the basketball posts have been erected, with the
backboards and rims yet to come, and some of the picnic tables and trash
receptacles have been delivered to the site.
At the Lan Park site, the full basketball court has been poured, as well as the
half court. The remainder of the colored border and park walkways will be poured
soon. Some of the picnic tables and trash receptacles have been delivered to the
site, as well.
Both Parks are scheduled to be complete by June of this year. The actual turf
areas will not be immediately available for use because of the germination
process and should be ready sometime in late August.
