The City of Ripon, through its BMR Housing Program and Development Agreements, requires developers to provide a percentage of affordable units in their new construction residential projects. Qualifying for one of these homes is based on income limits established by Federal Law (HUD). The homes are sold below market rate at an affordable price to a qualified household.
